AUCC Annual General Meeting - 2017

The Annual General Meeting of the Auckland University Cricket Club will be held in the Colin Maiden Park Clubrooms on Wednesday 21st June 2017 at 7.00pm. All Club Members are invited and encouraged to attend. The Bar will be open from 6:30pm for socialising prior to and after the meeting.

The Agenda for the meeting is at AGM 2017 Agenda and the minutes of the 2016 meeting are at AGM 2016 Minutes.

Nominations are invited for the Office Bearers and Board Members for the 2017-18 year. Nominations from Senior players and parents of Junior players are encouraged so that the Board is fully representative of all sections of the Club.

The Board positions are: 

  • President
  • Senior Club Captain
  • Junior Club Captain
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • 4 elected Board Members, at least one of which shall be a Senior Playing Member of the Club
  • One person from the University of Auckland (current enrolled student or a staff member) to be appointed by the Vice Chancellor or his nominee.

Under the provisions of the AUCC Constitution, any Member wishing to have any business considered at the AGM under General Business must give written notice containing details of such business to the Secretary on or before Wednesday 14th June 2017.

In particular to Nick Hall and Jordan Service whose partnership of 187 for our Senior C team v. Suburbs New Lynn on 21st January was the highest recorded in the Senior club, thereby earning them the Centennial Bails.

NZ Cricket Helmet Policy

NZ Crcket has issued it's policy regarding wearing of helmets which can be seen here .  Note that this polciy will be compulsory for all cricket in New Zealand from the 2017-18 season.

Colin Maiden Park - the future
